Milestones and Momentum, a Velixo 2025 Year in Review
What a year 2025 has been for Velixo!
As I reflect on the past twelve months, I’m filled with pride in our team and gratitude for our community. We achieved major milestones that have propelled Velixo to new heights. From securing our first round of funding and expanding our product line, to rolling out dozens of new templates and meeting partners and customers around the world.
Velixo grew faster than ever, surpassing 3,000 customers worldwide, counting 12,000 users in 25 countries. That’s enough people to fill the Place Des Arts for four consecutive nights. We did it all while staying true to our mission of empowering mid-market finance teams through real-time, Excel-based reporting.
Here’s a look back at the momentum we built in 2025 and how it’s setting the stage for an even more exciting 2026.
Fueling Growth: Series A Funding and New Board Members
One of the defining moments of 2025 came in April, when Velixo secured a significant Series A investment led by Elephant, a top-tier private equity firm known for backing high-growth software companies. This funding was a pivotal milestone for us as validation of our vision and a catalyst to accelerate our growth. It’s enabling us to advance our innovation roadmap, with plans for deeper ERP integrations, enhanced AI-powered analytics, and expanded global reach in the years ahead. As I said at the time, “Velixo was built to eliminate the inefficiencies that slow businesses down… We empower CFOs, finance teams, and operations leaders with an intuitive, real-time interface to their ERP directly inside Excel.” That mission drives every decision we make, and the Series A has given us the fuel to push even harder on innovation.
In tandem with the funding, we also strengthened our leadership for the next chapter of Velixo’s journey. In October, we welcomed three exceptional industry leaders to our Board of Directors: Jack Connolly (Partner at Elephant), Deidre Lipton (former Microsoft & Softchoice executive), and Simon De Baene (co-founder of Workleap). Their combined expertise in strategic investments, enterprise technology, and scaling high-growth software businesses will help guide Velixo through its next phase of expansion. Bringing Jack, Deidre, and Simon on board was a proud moment for me personally. It underscores our commitment to strong governance and bold vision. As I noted during their appointment, adding such talent to our board is truly “a defining moment for Velixo… with this board, we’re ready to take that vision to the next level.” I’m excited to work with them as we continue scaling up.
The Series A also allowed us to invest where it matters most: our people. In 2025, we welcomed a significant number of new team members across product, engineering, customer success, sales, and marketing, strengthening our ability to innovate and support a rapidly growing customer base. We were especially intentional about bringing in senior leaders with deep experience in scaling SaaS companies, ERP ecosystems, and global go-to-market operations. This next layer of leadership is already helping us operate with greater focus and maturity, and we’re excited to share more formal announcements in the months ahead as we continue building the team that will carry Velixo into its next phase of growth.
Expanding Our Platform Thoughtfully
Our product saw significant growth in 2025, with more lines of code added to Velixo than exist in all seven Harry Potter books combined.
But this wasn’t growth for growth’s sake. Behind those numbers is meaningful, foundational work across the entire platform: performance improvements, deeper ERP integrations, new capabilities, and countless refinements that make Velixo faster, more reliable, and easier to use every day. Much of this work was driven directly by your feedback across G2, our community, direct messages, and even phone conversations.
We listen, and we build accordingly.
Launching New Integrations
Another huge 2025 milestone was launching two new integrations: Velixo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Velixo for STACK.
In November, we officially brought our award-winning Excel add-in to the Business Central community, one of the world’s most widely used mid-market ERP platforms.
This launch opens Velixo’s benefits to a whole new audience of finance and operations teams worldwide. Business Central users can now connect Excel directly to their ERP for live data, build dynamic reports with our functions, and even write back budgets and journals all without leaving the spreadsheet. In short, they get the same real-time reporting and automation experience that thousands of Velixo customers already enjoy, empowering them to close faster, consolidate smarter, and plan directly from Excel without sacrificing control or accuracy.
The feedback from early adopters has been fantastic. We’ve heard that Velixo is solving some of Business Central’s toughest reporting frustrations, from multi-entity consolidations to cumbersome budgeting processes, by bringing live, governed ERP data into Excel and letting users push updates back securely. It was exciting for our team to demo this new integration live at the Directions EMEA 2025 conference in Poznan, Poland, where we saw an enthusiastic response from the Dynamics partner community. Launching Velixo for Business Central is a major step in our product expansion, and it reinforces our bold vision of making Velixo the go-to Excel reporting tool foall mid-market ERPs.
Velixo also took a major step forward in construction reporting in 2025 through its integration with STACK, connecting preconstruction estimating with live financial execution.
STACK enables fast, accurate takeoff and estimating, Acumatica Construction manages project execution and accounting, and Velixo brings it all together inside Excel with real-time reporting, forecasting, and writeback. By unifying estimates, budgets, job cost actuals, commitments, and forecasts into a single Excel-based workflow, teams finally gain end-to-end visibility from first takeoff through project closeout. The result is fewer handoffs, less reconciliation, and a single source of truth that finance and operations can trust at every stage of the project lifecycle.
Accelerating Reporting with Templates (Excel Heaven!)
We also devoted significant effort this year to making Velixo easier to adopt and use by expanding our library of pre-built Excel report templates.
Late last year we introduced Velixo Report Templates as a new offering. We’ve productized Excel workbooks for common reporting, budgeting, and automation scenarios. In 2025, we took this to the next level. Our team delivered dozens of new templates spanning financial statements, forecasts, project reporting, and more. Whether you needed a plug-and-play Profit & Loss statement, a cash flow forecast model, or even a specialized nonprofit fund report, chances are we had a ready-made Excel template to get you started.
The idea is simple: provide our users with flexible, best practice starting points that they can connect to their ERP data and customize as needed, saving them time and effort. This growing template library has dramatically accelerated time-to-value for new Velixo customers. Instead of building reports from scratch, you can open one of our templates and instantly see live ERP data flowing into a beautifully formatted Excel report. It’s also a great learning tool for customers to see Velixo formulas in action.

One of Velixo’s new pre-built Excel templates, a live Profit & Loss report pulling ERP data into Excel. We introduced dozens of such ready-to-use templates in 2025, spanning financial statements, budgets, and industry-specific reports. These templates give finance teams an instant head start, allowing them to focus on analysis instead of building every report from scratch.
The response to our template gallery has been overwhelmingly positive.
By simplifying complex reports into out-of-the-box workbooks,we’re making self-service reporting even more accessible. I love hearing how a controller was able to deliver a board-ready financial pack in record time using our templates, or how a new customer used our budgeting template to kick-start their planning process. It’s all about empowering our customers, and we have many more templates on the way. (If you have ideas for new templates, keep them coming: our community’s input is what guides us!)
Global Reach: 40+ Events and Counting
2025 was also the year we truly hit the road and invested in our community worldwide. In the spirit of being a global company, our team attended over 40 industry and partner events across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. We racked up a lot of frequent flyer miles, but nothing beats face-to-face time with our users and partners! Some highlights from our event calendar:
- Acumatica Summit 2025 (Las Vegas): We kicked off the year as a Platinum Sponsor of Acumatica’s annual summit, with an expanded Velixo booth (double the size of last year!) where our Excel nerds showed off new features and gave live demos. It was amazing to connect with so many Acumatica users and hear how Velixo has become a game-changer for their reporting. We even took home an award (more on that soon) at the Summit’s keynote, a proud moment for the whole Velixo team.
- Directions EMEA 2025 (Poznań, Poland): This Microsoft Dynamics partner conference was where we unveiled Velixo for Business Central to the world. Our CPO Damien and team demoed the integration live, and the reception was incredible. Partners immediately saw how Velixo could fill the reporting gaps for Business Central customers. Standing there watching finance professionals light up as they realized they could do all their reporting in Excel (with live BC data) was truly gratifying.
- Sage Future Partner & Customer Events (Many Locations!): We made a concerted effort to engage the Sage ERP community this year, attending Sage partner summits and user conferences in multiple regions. Velixo integrates with Sage Intacct, so we showed Sage users how they can supercharge Intacct’s reporting with our Excel add-in. From conversations at these events, it’s clear that many Sage customers face similar reporting challenges and we’re here to help them take Excel-based reporting to the next level.
- Many more in between: From regional Acumatica User Groups, to MYOB’s events in APAC, to virtual webinars and local CFO meetups, Velixo’s presence was felt everywhere. In total, we participated in over 40 events this year – an all-time high for us. It was exhausting at times (our demos laptop definitely earned a rest!), but also incredibly energizing. Each event was an opportunity to strengthen relationships, learn from our partners and clients, and show the mid-market ERP world what Velixo can do. I want to give a shout-out to our marketing and sales team members who essentially lived out of their suitcases, your passion and stamina made a huge impact.
By the end of 2025, I can confidently say our community is stronger than ever. Whenever I traveled to an event, I was struck by the sense of camaraderie in the community Velixo is building, with finance folks swapping tips on Excel functions, partners brainstorming new use cases, and everyone excited about the product’s direction. These in-person connections are invaluable. We’ll continue to be wherever our customers and partners are, be it Las Vegas, Barcelona, London, or Sydney, because Velixo’s story is ultimately about people.
Celebrating Recognition and Awards
Our innovation and hard work did not go unnoticed in 2025. Velixo was honored with multiple industry awards this year, which was both humbling and validating for our team:
- Acumatica ISV Partner of the Year: Velixo was named Acumatica’s top Independent Software Vendor at the Acumatica Summit 2025. This award recognized our continued innovation and the value we deliver to Acumatica customers. Given our roots in the Acumatica ecosystem, receiving this honor (for the second year in a row!) in front of thousands of attendees felt like a championship win for us.
- MYOB Advanced “Best Performing App”: We were also thrilled to receive MYOB’s award for Best Performing App in their marketplace. (For those unfamiliar, MYOB Advanced is the ANZ-region cloud ERP based on Acumatica.) Velixo’s strong adoption in the MYOB community earned us this recognition, highlighting how we’ve helped MYOB users get more out of their ERP investment. A big thanks to our partners in Australia/New Zealand for championing Velixo to their clients as this award is a shared victory.
- G2 Leader – Financial Reporting & Budgeting: Velixo earned a Leader badge on G2 (the popular software review platform) in both the Financial Reporting and Budgeting/Forecasting categories. This one is special because it comes straight from our users’ satisfaction. Hundreds of reviewers have rated Velixo as a top solution for financial reporting. We maintained a perfect 5★ score across several criteria. Being a G2 Leader tells us that we’re delivering real value daily and meeting (or exceeding) the expectations of finance teams. That’s ultimately the best award we could hope for.
Collectively, these accolades underscore Velixo’s impact and leadership in the market. I’m extremely proud of our team for earning each of them. When I look at our trophy shelf (yes, we had to buy a new one!), I’m reminded that every trophy represents the trust of our users and the dedication of our employees and partners. We don’t build software for the sake of winning awards but it sure is nice to see our efforts recognized by both industry experts and customers. It motivates us to aim even higher.
Empowering Mid-Market Finance Teams (Our True North)
Behind all these milestones from funding, product launches, templates, events to awards, there lies a simple core purpose: to empower finance teams to do their best work. Mid-market companies often struggle with getting timely, flexible reports from their ERP systems. Velixo was created to solve that, by marrying the power of ERP with the flexibility of Excel. In 2025 we lived this mission every day. Velixo now connects Excel with multiple cloud ERPs (Acumatica, Sage Intacct, Cegid, Business Central, STACK and more), delivering real-time data, robust financial functions, and even write-back capabilities, all within the familiar spreadsheet environment.
I’ve always believed that if you know Excel, you can use Velixo.
This year, I saw that belief validated over and over. From CFOs to accountants to project managers, users across industries embraced Velixo to automate tedious processes and gain faster insights. The results they achieved were incredible. Many teams saw productivity gains of 50–75%, literally saving days of work each month by eliminating manual exports and reconciliations.
Think about what that means: finance professionals reclaiming time to focus on analysis and strategy instead of wrestling with data. One finance leader told me they could close the books several days sooner thanks to Velixo’s real-time reporting and writeback. Another said “Velixo has become the heart of our financial reporting”. Hearing these stories is by far the most rewarding part of my job. It tells me that our software is fundamentally changing how teams operate for the better.
Empowering our customers will always be our north star. No matter how much we grow, that direct line to making someone’s work easier, faster, and more insightful is what keeps us grounded. I want to personally thank every customer who shared their success story or gave feedback in 2025. You are the reason we push ourselves to improve. Velixo continues to be shaped by our customers and partners’ needs and ideas, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Looking Ahead to 2026
With such a momentous 2025 behind us, it’s natural to ask what comes next. I can honestly say I’ve never been more excited about where we’re headed. The momentum we built this year is just the beginning, and 2026 is shaping up to be a year of continued focus, execution, and meaningful progress.
At the product level, our priority remains simple: keep making Velixo more powerful, more intuitive, and more enjoyable to use every day.
We’re investing heavily in the core experience, from performance and scalability to thoughtful improvements that make reporting and planning in Excel faster and smoother. Many of the biggest wins come from the small details, and we’ll continue refining the platform based on direct feedback from the people who rely on Velixo every month.
We’re also deepening our commitment to the partner ecosystem that helped drive so much of our growth in 2025.
Our VAR, ISV, and OEM partners play a critical role in how Velixo reaches and supports customers, and in 2026 we’ll be expanding partner enablement, co-marketing efforts, and technical collaboration. Our goal is simple: make Velixo an even more natural extension of the solutions our partners deliver, and ensure customers see clear, shared value from working together. I’m especially excited to lean on the experience of our expanded board as we continue building these relationships at a global scale.
All told, 2026 feels like another inflection point for Velixo. We’re carrying forward the energy and success of 2025 while raising the bar for ourselves across the organization. The team is already hard at work on the next wave of improvements, and while I can’t share everything just yet, I’m confident the best is still ahead. I’m looking forward to continuing this journey and sharing more as the year unfolds.
To every member of the Velixo community reading this: thank you for an incredible 2025. It has been a year of milestones, but also countless small moments: a successful deployment, a solved support ticket, a lightbulb moment during training, all these things that collectively define who we are. I am grateful and honored to have your trust.
